My painting of Concorde G-BOAG landing at sunset in the U.K. "Speedbird Dusk Arrival". This iconic airliner is one of my favourite aircraft of all time. When living in Dorset I could hear Concorde faintly breaking the sound barrier every evening on it's way to New York. I was fortunate enough to see Concorde fly many times, it's graceful appearance, power and ground-shaking roar were unforgettable.  I used four different images to construct this composition, the light condition was from memory.
