I was inspired to paint this Red-eyed Tree Frog from a photograph my partner took whilst in Costa Rica. Their bright colours are very vibrant but I liked how subtle they were in the photograph I used for reference. I may do a more vivid and vibrantly coloured piece with oil in the future.
